INAUGURAL SHOWCASE FEATURES TOP PREP BASKETBALL RECRUITS

Dix Hills, N.Y. -- The inaugural Gotham Hoops Classic (January 19-20, 2018) showcases boy's high school basketball recruits from America, Europe, Australia and Africa. This event hosts 17 teams representing New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Toronto.

Participants include NCAA Division I commits, top unsigned seniors and standout underclassmen. Featured recruits are Jared Rhoden (Baldwin, NY '18), Anthony Lawson (Brampton, ON '19), Jason Harris (Mesa, AZ '20), Myreon Jones (Birmingham, AL '18), Makur Maker (Perth, Australia '20) and Moulaye Sissoko (Bamako, Mali '19), among others.

Teams will travel more than 6,000 miles this January to Upper Room Christian School (Dix Hills, NY). Top programs in the Gotham Hoops Classic include Our Saviour Lutheran (NY), Lincoln Academy (GA), Higley High School (AZ), Missisauga Prep (CAN) and Brooklyn Collegiate (NY).

Games start at 3:30 PM on Friday, Jan. 19 (Schedule) and continue at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Jan. 20 (Schedule). Daily admission for this event is $10 for Adults and $5 for Students.

2018 Gotham Hoops Classic Field Announced

The field for the 2018 Gotham Hoops Classic has been determined. The 17-team field will compete in the mid-season showcase on Friday, Jan 19 and Saturday, Jan 20 at Upper Room Christian School in Dix Hills, N.Y.

The inaugural showcase includes teams from New York, Georgia, Arizona and Ontario, Canada. The 2018 Gotham Hoops Classic features:

Showcase games tip-off at 3:30pm on Friday, Jan 19 and 10:00am on Saturday, Jan 20. Tickets are $10 each day and can be purchased on-site at Upper Room Christian School.
