Through premier showcase events, in-depth scouting, player evaluations, and trusted basketball coverage, Gotham Hoops has helped overlooked players get seen. Our mission is simple: create opportunities for players who have earned them.
Today, more than 350 Gotham Hoops alumni have gone on to play professionally in 35+ countries, while countless others have continued their careers at every level of college basketball.

Gotham Hoops CLassic
One of the premier high school and prep showcases in New York City.
Held annually in the Bronx, the Gotham Hoops Classic brings together many of the Northeast's top programs and emerging prospects for a weekend of elite competition. Entering its seventh year, the Classic has become a proving ground for future college and professional players.
Gotham Hoops Invitational
Where college careers became professional careers.
From 2014–2019, the Gotham Hoops Invitational provided NBA, G League, and overseas scouts an opportunity to evaluate men’s college seniors ready for the next level. Across six showcases, more than 250 players used the event as a springboard to professional basketball.

The athletes who compete at Gotham Hoops don't just put on a show, they continue their journeys at the highest levels of the game. From Division I standouts to NBA players and pros competing around the world, Gotham Hoops alumni continue to prove that talent can come from anywhere when given the right stage.
Dalano Banton
Boston Celtics
Banton shined at the inaugural Classic, showcasing his size and skill. After a standout college career, he was drafted in 2021 and has spent the last four seasons in the NBA before joining the G League.
A.J. Lawson
baskonia (Liga ACB - spain)
Lawson starred in the 2018 Classic and has since played in the NBA Finals. The Toronto native spent the 2025-26 season with his hometown Raptors before heading for his first stint overseas.
Jared Rhoden
Paris basketball
Rhoden’s lone appearance in the Classic left a lasting impression. After a stellar college career, he spent the last four seasons in the NBA before joining Paris Basketball of the LNB Élite and EuroLeague.
Zekei Ziegler
Nanterre 92
Ziegler’s defensive prowess was evident as an underclassmen in the Classic. He became a star on the college level for the University of Tennessee and now plays for Nanterre 92 of the LNB Pro A (France).
