Founded in 2009 in the heart of New York City, Gotham Hoops started with a focus on spotlighting local, rising high school basketball talent, aiming to boost their visibility to both national two and four-year college teams.
Expanding our services, in 2012, we introduced ‘Gotham Hoops Scouting,’ an NCAA-certified recruiting service tailored to colleges and universities. As our journey progressed, our coverage expanded beyond chronicling the paths of promising high school athletes, embracing the achievements of local talents in collegiate basketball.
A milestone moment arrived in 2014 with the inaugural Gotham Hoops Invitational, where 36 men's college seniors showcased their skills before fans, media, and professional scouts. Since then, over 150 alumni have secured professional contracts in more than 30 countries.
In 2018, the Gotham Hoops Classic was born—a high school basketball showcase hosting teams from diverse regions across the U.S. and Canada. This event has provided a platform for over 450 student-athletes to connect with colleges and further their basketball aspirations.
Our mission is clear: bridging the gap between budding basketball prospects and the teams seeking fresh talent through our carefully curated events. Notably, top performers from these showcases have gone on to excel in some of the world's most esteemed basketball leagues.
