Poleon Named Player of the Month in Ireland

Gotham Hoops Invitational alum Greg Poleon was recently named Player of the Month in Ireland’s Super League.

Poleon, an aggressive 6-7 forward, tipped off the 2022-23 campaign with an impressive 40-point outing in a victory.

The former Pace University standout has helped elevate his club, EJ Sligo All-Stars, towards the top of the standings early in the season.

Gotham Hoops Announces Roster for TBT 2022

The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is a high-stakes single-elimination, winner-take-all tournament. This year’s edition features 64 teams across eight regions. Gotham Hoops has applied to enter the Rucker Park region with hopes of competing for the $1M prize.

We recruited alumni from our annual Men’s College Senior Showcase to represent Gotham Hoops and showcase their skills to an international audience.

Team Gotham Hoops coaches are Ray Anczelowicz (Founder), Kevin Spann II (former college basketball player at Saint Peter’s and LIU Post / former head coach at St. Joseph’s College) and Kingsley Aguh (former college basketball player at New Haven).

The team will learn their fate during the 2022 TBT Selection Show on Wednesday, June 22 at 12:00pm ET. If selected, Gotham Hoops will play their first game on Saturday, July 16 at the famous Rucker Park.
