Robertson Commits to Merrimack
Rising senior Mekhi Robertson has officially ended his recruitment, committing to Merrimack College this week.
The dynamic guard will join Coach Joe Gallo and the Warriors beginning with the 2027-28 season after spending his final year of high school basketball at Masters Academy International in Massachusetts.
A New Jersey native, Robertson first made his mark on the Gotham Hoops radar during the 5th Annual Gotham Hoops Classic in 2024. Competing as a freshman against older competition, he immediately stood out with his explosive offensive ability, attacking defenders off the bounce and finishing through contact with confidence.
Robertson's ability to create scoring opportunities, get to the rim, and compete against upperclassmen showcased the potential of a guard well beyond his years.
After continuing to develop his game, Robertson will now take the next step at Merrimack, becoming another Gotham Hoops standout to earn an opportunity at the next level.
