LONDON, ON -- The London Lightning (2-2) came away with a crucial NBLC Finals win on Saturday, defeating the Halifax Hurricanes (2-2), 122-114.
The Bolts were led by Mo Bolden's 38-point showing. Julian Boyd (24 points; 12 rebounds) and Garrett Williamson (23 points; 13 assists; 9 rebounds) contributed mightily in London's overtime win. Antoine Mason netted 36 points in the loss as six total Halifax players finished with double-figures. London shot 81.0% (34-42 FT) to help seal their series-tying victory.
This match-up featured three Gotham Hoops Invitational players in Boyd (LDN), Rhamel Brown (HFX) and Mike Poole (HFX).
With the series knotted at two games apiece, the Lightning host the Hurricanes on Monday evening for Game 5.
