Kendrick Ray (Middletown, N.Y.) has signed with European powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israeli team announced on Monday.
As a rookie in 2017-18 the 6-2 playmaker averaged 13.2 points, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game for CEZ Nymburk (Czech Republic - NBL).
Ray, 24, entered the professional ranks after an impressive collegiate career at Division I Kennesaw State University. The high-flying guard scored 1,235 points in two seasons and averaged an outstanding 21.2 points per game as a senior in 2016-17.
Ray aims to add a scoring boost to Maccabi Tel Aviv during the upcoming Israeli Winner League and EuroLeague seasons.
