USA Wins FIBA U18 Americas Championship

USA Wins FIBA U18 Americas Championship

Team Canada’s impressive run at this year’s FIBA U18 Championships came to a bitter-sweet conclusion on Saturday, June 16, losing to Team USA by a final score of 113-74.

Though 2018 Gotham Hoops Classic alum A.J. Lawson provided a spark for Canada with an 18-point, 12-rebound double-double, the efforts of USA's Quentin Grimes (17 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists), Cole Anthony (18 points, 4 assists) and Matthew Hurt (18 points) proved to be too much.

Andrew Nembhard (CAN), Cole Anthony (USA), Alec White (USA), Quentin Grimes (USA) and Francisco Caffaro (ARG) were selected to the FIBA U18 Americas Championship 2018 All-Star Five.
