Hartley Hits Career Milestone in Loss

On Tuesday the Seattle Storm visited New York to face the Liberty. While the league's top team at 13-5 came away with the 77-62 victory, it was Bria Hartley who hit a career milestone.

The North Babylon, N.Y. native scored 16 points, all in the second half, on her way to eclipsing the 1,000-point mark. Hartley, a former standout at the University of Connecticut joined the WNBA in 2014 as the No. 7 overall selection.

Since then, Hartley has been named to the WNBA All-Rookie team and made a career best 38 three-pointers in 2017. The 5-8 guard has also spent time playing professionally overseas in top leagues throughout Hungary and Turkey.
