Maurice Harkless is staying in Portland, according to reports. The versatile 6-foot-8 forward has re-signed with the Trailblazers, signing a 4-year deal worth $40 million.
Harkless, 23, played a pivotal role in Portland's playoff run this past season. He joined the club via trade last summer and found himself in the starting lineup during the postseason.
A former Big East Rookie of the Year, Harkless has established himself as a high-level defender in the league. The Queens, N.Y. products uses his superior length and athleticism to successfully cover multiple positions.
