Classic Duo Bound for JUCO

A pair of recent Gotham Hoops Classic standouts have signaled their next moves.

Post-graduate prospects Andrew Mabry (above) of Bridgeport Prep (CT) and Yeison Liberato of Redemption Christian Academy (NY) are taking the junior college route.

Mabry, a physical 6’3” guard from Massachusetts, has committed to Dodge City Community College. A well-recognized program, Dodge has made 11 NJCAA National Tournament appearances, including in 2022 and 2023. Mabry joins fellow Bridgeport Prep and Classic alum, 7’1” Wesly Rosa, in Kansas next season.

Joining another strong JUCO program, Liberato—a two-time Classic top performer—will be taking his talents to Midland Community College next season. The 6’4” playmaker has delivered standout performances throughout his career at RCA and looks to make an immediate impact for Midland in 2025-26. The program, currently 20-8, sits in second place in its conference.

Keep an eye on these two Gotham Hoops Classic alumni as they continue developing their game and making a name for themselves in the college ranks.
