Cameron Moore suffered a heart attack and passed away on the court late Tuesday in Macedonia.
Moore was training for the 2016-17 season when the incident occurred. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in 2011-12.
Moore, 25, was diagnosed with cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) in 2015 but was recently cleared to play.
The San Antonio, TX product was entering his fourth professional season which included stints in the Ukraine and Italy as well as the NBA's Development and Summer Leagues.
Moore was featured in a Gotham Hoops production which chronicled the pre-draft preparation of current Portland Trailblazers forward Maurice Harkless.
