New York, NY - The 4th Annual Gotham Hoops Invitational was hosted at Long Island (N.Y.) Lutheran High School on April 22nd. The men's college senior showcase was highlighted by a four-team tournament.

Here are the results and top performers:

SEMIFINAL NO. 1 - BOLD NEW YORK (80) vs. SPORTS HUB (75)

The first semifinal was a back-and-forth affair with neither team letting up an inch. Brian Bernardi (Hofstra University) helped Sports Hub jump out to an early lead with nine first quarter points. Kyle Benjamin (University of Bridgeport) aided Bernardi's offensive attack as Sports Hub led narrowly entering the half.

Trevis Wyche (Saint Peter's University) scored eight points in the third for Bold New York as they trailed by one point heading into the final quarter. It was Terry Harris Jr.'s (Coppin State University) fourth quarter performance (nine points) that propelled Bold New York to the eventual 80-75 win and appearance in the championship game.

Bold New York was led in scoring by Derrico Peck (UMES) with 14 points. Cleon Roberts (La Salle University) added 12 points in the win. Josh Treadwell (Coppin State University) paced Sports Hub with 15 points. Bernardi and Benjamin scored 12 points apiece in the loss.

SEMIFINAL NO. 2 - PRIME PERFORMANCE (96) vs. 4th FAMILY (98)

With a bid for the championship game on the line the competition was at a high level. Prime Performance's Shane Rector (Utah State University) and Emile Blackman (Duquesne University) scored a combined 19 first-half points, leading to a double-digit advantage at the half.

In the fourth quarter 4th Family found their stride. Jaylen Morris (Molloy College) led the way with 11 points as C.J. Gettys (Rutgers University) and Freddie Manyawu (Park University) combined for 10 rebounds and three blocks, masterfully executing a comeback that would eventually force overtime.

With a tied score and seconds left in the extra session, Rector would be fouled attacking the rim. Rector would go onto miss the front-end but connect on the second free-throw to give Prime Performance a 96-95 lead with 3.5 seconds remaining. On the ensuing possession Diego Maldonado (Queens College) found himself just inside half-court before pulling-up with defenders draped on him to drain the game-winner.

Maldonado scored nine points in the come-from-behind victory, including two key three-pointers in overtime. Gettys led all scorers with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Morris scored 15 points as Cavon Baker (Saint Peter's University) added 10 points and eight rebounds for 4th Family. Rector and Blackman scored 21 and 18 points, respectively, in the loss. Lavon Long (Siena College) scored 17 points and Quadir Welton (Saint Peter's University) added 12 points and 11 rebounds for Prime Performance.

CONSOLATION GAME - PRIME PERFORMANCE (67) vs. SPORTS HUB (90)

In their second outing, Sports Hub ran away from their depleted opponent. Scoring guards Treadwell and Tim Coleman (NJIT) got off to an early start with 17 combined points in the first quarter.

Despite four players scoring in double-digits for Prime Performance, led by 15 points from Thomas Rivera (UMES), their lackluster defensive approach served as their demise. Sports Hub jumped out to an early 20-point lead and never looked back. They dominated the ball-game from start-to-finish with a convincing performance.

Coleman posted a game-high 23 points for Sports Hub while recording a double-double with 10 rebounds. Treadwell finished the contest with 16 points, five rebounds and five assists. Bernardi scored 15 points in the win.

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME - BOLD NEW YORK (93) vs. 4th FAMILY (97)

The competition heated up for the title tilt as teams traded blows from the opening tip. A combined 12 players scored in the first quarter, each aiming to make their presence felt. With scores and stops exchanging like currency, Bold New York and 4th Family were knotted at 46 apiece at the end of the first half.

Lightning quick guard Deron Powers (Hofstra University) made noise in the third quarter with 13 points. As a result of Powers' offensive prowess, Bold New York entered the fourth period with a two-point advantage. Trailing by a pair, 4th Family's Baker erupted with 14 points, five rebounds and two assists in the final quarter to solidify the 97-93 championship win.

Baker finished the game with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Conor Voss (Columbia University), a 7-1 force, posted 15 points, six rebounds and two blocks for 4th Family. Jarrel Marshall (University of Portland) and Tidell Pierre (Central Connecticut State University) added 14 points each in the win. Powers led Bold New York with 16 points as Wyche scored 15 points. Roberts added 14 points and 6-11 Darius Lewis (Duquesne University) went for 11 points and seven rebounds in the loss.
